BIRAD lexicon 을 확인해보면, BI-RADS 4C에 해당하는 병변은
→ New group of fine linear calcification
→ new indistinct irregular solitary mass
에 해당합니다.
문제 사진에 fine linear calcification은 보이지 않고, irregular shape, high density 의 solitary mass가 보이므로 BI-RADS 4C에 해당할 수 있습니다.
Category 4a :
- Partially circumscribed mass, suggestive of (atypical) fibroadenoma
- Palpable, solitary, complex cystic and solid cyst
- Probable abscess
Category 4b :
- Group amorphous or fine pleomorphic calcifications
- Nondescript solid mass with indistinct margins
Category 4c :
- New group of fine linear calcifications
- New indistinct, irregular solitary mass
Category 5 :
- Spiculated, irregular high density mass.
- Segmental or linear arrangement of fine linear calcifications.
- Irregular spiculated mass with associated pleomorphic calcifications.
